2K Games announced that Bioshock 2 will be released on February 9, 2010 for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. It was originally supposed to hit shelves this November, but it was announced delayed back in July due to development issues.

Bioshock 2 takes place 10 years after the first game, with players returning to Rapture. The player will take the role of the first Big Daddy, who will then try to capture Little Sisters from other Big Daddy’s, and battle Big Sister.

Bioshock 2 will also have a multiplayer mode developed by Digital Extremes, which will contain team deathmatch and some mystery mode.
