Groups of selected Dragon Age: Origins fans from the around the world will be rounded up and sent off to London, England for a 24-hour long gaming event on October 28th for a chance to win $50,000 and play the game before the rest of the world does.

Ten groups of fans from Canada, Poland, the United Kingdom, Spain, the Czech Republic and Hungary, France, the Netherlands, Germany, the United States as well as a team composed of fans chosen directly from the BioWare Community, are being flown to London England to compete in Dragon Age: Origins Wardens’ Quest. Each team must enroll as a Grey Warden and fight the evil forces of the darkspawn.Teams will be scoring points not just for trying to get to the end of the game, but for number of enemies killed, areas explored, achievements earned and much more.

If you didn’t make the team you can watch the action via live video stream. Teams from BioWare and European Dragon Age Communities will also broadcast live from the event on the Dragon Age forums, Twitter account, Facebook page and more. Fans can also support their favorites through their dedicated Facebook or Twitter pages, and will also have a chance to win some of the Dragon Age: Origins merchandise given out throughout the event.

The event begins at 10:00 a.m. GMT on October 28th, but no URL is available yet for the live video stream or Facebook links. We’ll keep you updated!
