In addition to unveiling the full character lineup, Furutani’s interview highlighted two exciting gameplay modes: Episode Battle and Custom Battle.

• Episode Battle allows players to relive some of the most iconic moments from the anime, featuring 8 core characters: Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Piccolo, Jiren, Future Trunks, Goku Black, and Frieza. Goku’s storyline will be the most expansive, starting from the Saiyan invasion of Earth and culminating in the Tournament of Power from Dragon Ball Super.
• Custom Battle gives players the freedom to craft their own battles. Not only can they explore original scenarios created by the development team, but they can also create and share their dream battles with pre- and post-fight cutscenes, custom effects, and their favorite characters.
