After months and months of playing the same maps on Modern Warfare 2, do you suffer from Mapathy? Worry not. Infinity Ward will cure what ails you soon enough. If you’re an Xbox 360 player. Infinity Ward tweeted Mapathy.com, a site dedicated to the awareness of Mapathy defined as:

Mapathy (n.) [map-uh-thee] (often expressed as, “How the hell did you know I was there?!”) is a state of indifference to the same old maps one has been playing for the last several months. The Mapathetic individual no longer derives pleasure from blowing up people hiding in the cockpit or on top of the crane. More than 20 million people may be at risk for Mapathy.

The cure is coming, March 30, 2010.

MW2 DLC is known to cure symptoms of Mapathy players in Xbox 360 players. The DLC is not to be taken by PC or PS3 players until further notice. MW2 DLC can cause sleepless nights, mood swings, and sometimes violent behavior towards television sets. Please do not take MW2 DLC if you value your job or are in the presence of small children.
