Next Assassin’s Creed Game Includes Multiplayer, and Ezio
Unisoft recently revealed in financial statements that the latest in the line of Assassin’s Creed video games would be available by April 2011. The new “Assassin’s Creed III” will include multiplayer play (a first for the series) and will follow Ezio’s story after the events of Assassin’s Creed II.
It’s not entirely surprising that Ubisoft is moving quickly on this Assassin’s Creed III with recent figures that Assassin’s Creed II had sold over 6 million units. There had been previous speculation that a new Assassin’s Creed would follow the story of a female assassin. The upcoming game in the trilogy will be a full-version game and not add-on content to AC2, and according to CEO Yves Guillemot will be sold at a “full price point”.
