Nintendo Confirms New 3DS with 3D Gaming
Nintendo has officially announced the next model in their lineup of portable gaming systems: the Nintendo 3DS. The 3DS will allow players to play games in 3D without the use of glasses and will be backwards compatible with DS and DSi games.
Rumor has it that it might feature an analog stick, and a screen by Sharp utilizing parallax barrier technology.
The preliminary announcement revealed that it would be available sometime in the next financial year for Nintendo (Apr 2010 – Mar 2011). The 3DS will be fully revealed at June’s E3 expo.
