Resident Evil: Afterlife Begins Production
Production officially began on the fourth installment of the Resident Evil movie series, Resident Evil: Afterlife. Screengems and Constantin films made it official that production had began in Toronto, Canada.
Milla Jovovich will reprise her role as Alice, and other familiar faces will be Ali Larter as Claire Redfield and Spencer Locke as K-Mart (from Resident Evil: Extinction). Some new faces will be Wentworth Miller (Michael Scofield from Fox’s Prison Break) as Chris Redfield and Shawn Roberts as Albert Wesker.
The film is directed by Paul W.S. Anderson (directed the first three) and will be shot in 3D. According to Anderson “Alice’s battle with The Umbrella Corporation isn’t finished. Last time we saw Alice, she let them know she was coming after them. It’s time to settle the score.”
