Uncharted 2 will be released in the U.S. on October 13, 2009. Along with the news of the release date, the cover art has been finalized and a bunch of pre-order goodies have been announced from various retailers.

Best Buy Pre-Order: Golden weapons in multiplayer (golden Baretta and AK-47)
Amazon Pre-Order: Treasure map to locate hidden treasures in singleplayer
Game Crazy Pre-Order: "Currency Multiplier" to accumulate money to unlock bonuses faster in multiplayer mode (for a limited time of course)
GameStop Pre-Order: Early access to multiplayer demo (Sept. 9th), "Revenge" attribute in-game (something others will be able to unlock)

Everyone else will wait until September 30th for the demo.

Uncharted 2: Among Thieves is a Playstation only sequel to Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, featuring Nathan Drake, a shady fortune-hunter. This adventure game allows players to be Nathan Drake and to discover the real truth behind the lost fleet of Marco Polo and the legendary Himalayan valley of Shambhala.It will feature new gameplay mechanics such as stealth action and better climbing and supposedly will have no loading screens.
